  1. This is great. Over a 50 year career, I made many mistakes. For me, a mistake is an opportunity to learn a different way to achieve a goal. Even in life, you learn different ways to achieve your goals in life as you age. (Especially in face of physical challenges.)

Legendary home run icon Babe Ruth was known mostly for his record setting batting average... but his strike out stats were also very high. When I've had my clients ask me why I should be the chosen consultant on my marketing proposals, I always reply 'because of my missed challenges, I have know what not to do with most every task I take on'
