Fashionably Wired® is my very own unique concept and craft business. Though I began making and selling beaded jewelry in 1998, I adopted the name “Fashionably Wired” in 2001 when I discovered my unique style of coiled wire jewelry. I sell my jewelry at craft shows throughout the southeastern U.S. and through this website.

Program Thoughts

Nick has done an excellent job and given me focused, useful information for improving my www.FashionablyWired.com website and its potential for profitability. I feel I have a much better handle on what it takes to be successful on the Internet.

The Motivation Behind My Money-Making Website

My 12-year-old child is terminally ill, and since her disease is slowly progressive, there may come a time when I cannot leave home to go to work. Without my income, we don’t have enough to live on. So, I have been building up my jewelry craft business and exploring work-from-home options. I began www.fashionablywired.com to make more money. But, until I took Nick’s class, it was just an okay site. It had about 40 pages total, and most of the content was older pictures of my jewelry. I was not getting a lot of traffic, nor was I selling very much, even to my existing customers.

With the encouragement and practical information provided in his program and through the group site discussions these past six weeks, I believe I have improved the value of my site tremendously. I have added advertising, affiliate links, and pumped the content up to 210 pages and counting. Plus, I’ve added a lot more written content to go with 500 new photos. I’ve also created a blog to encourage interaction with my visitors. The program was very helpful.
