Professional Background:

Like many English majors I graduated from college and did not go immediately into a writing career. While I continued to write for myself and for hobby, I went to nursing school and became a midwife and RN. Eventually, after years of having my own business in healthcare (and lots of middle of the night phone calls),I decided to close my practice and go back to school for my MBA. Currently I continue to work in the ED as a nurse, while going to graduate school for my International MBA in Healthcare.
What I bring to the table as a writer is the talent of my youth that led me to choose a college major which reflected my passion, combined with the wealth of practical adult experience I have gained as a midwife, nurse, business owner, and MBA student.
I have been successful in my endeavors because of my belief that anything worth doing is worth doing well, and that there is always room to grow and improve.
I hope to bring that same passion and dedication to all of the projects I write for!
