Professional Background:

My background is in newspaper publishing, freelance writing, public relations, and community building. I am a writer and indie author with four published books, available through my website www.vandermeerbooks.com, Amazon, Barnes and Nobel online bookstore, and in the Xlibris online store.

I also write three blogs, have web published an online magazine and do newsletter design and development. I am currently doing web writing for a university.

I currently edit and write for a college alumni magazine and just completed writing copy for a music festival.
