AWAI is Looking to Hire a Marketing Manager

American Writers & Artists Inc. is looking to hire a Marketing Manager to oversee all acquisition marketing efforts for its writing career product line.

This is a great opportunity to work in beautiful downtown Delray Beach, Florida, with a fun, growing and dynamic group of talented marketers and copywriters.

Qualified candidate will contribute to and profit from the company’s exciting growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute marketing plans for company’s acquisition products – both in the mail and online.
  • Run and grow the company’s affiliate program.
  • Contribute creative direction for new products and campaigns.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors.
  • Analyze marketing results and make recommendations for future marketing efforts.
  • Backup the retention and email marketer when necessary.
  • Develop customer service promotion programs and supporting materials.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field preferred.
  • 5+ Years Experience (Sales and/or marketing a plus).
  • Solid knowledge of PC-based applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • EXCELLENT organization and communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Have an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Not be a 9-to-5’er (This is NOT a corporate job.)

  • Direct-Mail
  • Inside or outside sales
  • PPC and SEO
  • Affiliate management
