Events Coordinator for AWAI’s Online and Onsite Training Programs
AWAI is the world’s leading publisher of direct-response copywriting and marketing training programs that people develop the skills the need to acquire financial security, independence and freedom.
The Events Coordinator will assist the Events Director in the scheduling, planning, and hosting of the company’s live and online training events.
Primary duties:
- Serve as teaching assistant and/or moderator for online classes.
- Work with Events Director to ensure that all technical operations for online training programs are properly set up, executed and processed.
- Schedule all programs on web platform; set up email invitations, post recordings; host sessions.
- Organize and distribute recordings, reports, emails internally on a regular basis.
- Teach instructors and presenters how to use the online platforms as requested.
- Participate in the daily operations of AWAI working with tech and marketing staff.
- Assist the Events Director as needed for onsite training events.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail – must be able to execute directions with 100% accuracy.
- Critical thinking and ability to troubleshoot problems.
- Clear speaking voice.
- 2 years experience in professional working environment.
- Flexible schedule when required for evening classes.
Preferred:
- College degree in Business or Education.
- Experience with online training platforms like WebEx.
