Mark Everett Johnson, who once worked as copy chief for the legendary Eugene Schwartz, shared three secrets every successful copywriter MUST learn from Schwartz. He also presented the little-known elements of must-read headlines, along with tips on how to convert prospects to buyers.
Lorrie Morgan-Ferrero, an industry trailblazer, taught participants how to write copy that sells to 85% of the buying market. Not only that, but she divulged top secrets for building relationships with copy and shared a copy-makeover technique that moves your copy into the 21st century.
It was a particularly special treat when Mike Palmer took the stage. Mike recently wrote what is by far the most successful front-end promotion of at least the past decade for his client, who is a major mailer. So far, that single promotion has brought in over three hundred thousand new subscribers to its flagship publication in less than a year and could very well lead to over $100 million dollars in back-end sales.
