Interview with Novelist and AWAI-Trained Copywriter Pat McCord

Pat McCord lives for writing books. She’s published 15 of them, earning numerous awards and recognition.

But like most authors, books are not how she makes her entire living. Given the industry’s inconsistent nature, Pat discovered freelance copywriting as her “permanent plan B” to help her pay the bills and give her the freedom to focus on her passion.

During this interview Pat reveals how she’s managed to build a thriving business writing marketing materials including promotions, fundraising appeals, and eBooks using what she calls “the friendship model.”
