Land a New Client this November
at AWAI’s FastTrack to Copywriting Success Bootcamp and Job Fair
November 4-7 in Sunny Delray Beach, Florida

Don’t worry! All of us at Job Fair will be armed with spec assignments for you.

If you’re unfamiliar with spec assignments, they’re when you write some portion of a sales letter or ad … typically just the headline and lead … as a type of “audition,” if you will, for the full assignment. If the marketer likes what she sees, she’ll hire you (and pay you!) to write the full letter.

It’s a win-win for you and the marketer. You get an open-door to walk through … the marketer gets access to new talent.

Specs also give you an opportunity to …

  • Practice your writing. You know how important we think it is for you to write every day. Specs help bring that exercise to life … help make it more interesting.
  • Build your portfolio. What better way to add writing samples … then to write real letters for real products.
  • Impress a potential client with copy they want and need.

Plus … you could actually walk away from this year’s Bootcamp and Job Fair with a paycheck for copy you wrote before you even got to Bootcamp!
