What You Can Learn From Herschell Gordon Lewis This November

Did you hear the news? Herschell Gordon Lewis will open the 2009 FastTrack to Copywriting Success Bootcamp and Job Fair on Wednesday, Nov. 4th at 5:30PM.

If you haven’t seen him speak before – you’re in for a treat. And if you have, you know what an inspiring, articulate, relevant speaker he is!

No discussion of direct marketing in the last 50 years would be complete without a mention – several mentions – of Herschell Gordon Lewis. The author or co-author of more than 30 books, Herschell is also a widely read columnist. His most popular column, "Curmudgeon-at-Large", appears in the magazine Direct. He’s written for Direct Marketing Magazine, The NonProfit Times, Multichannel Merchant and several other national marketing publications.

Herschell always makes me laugh, and constantly reminds me of what living the writer’s life is all about …

He and his wife are off to Greece for a family vacation this September – and then right after his presentation at Bootcamp, they head off to a Horror Film Festival in Wales. When I asked him “when do you work?” he chuckled and said “that’s the beauty of what I do. I can work from anywhere, at any given time and still have time for these adventures. Copywriting is a great life.”

Herschell will focus his remarks on what’s working in copy today – including his “easy keys for overcoming automatic click-outs and shortened attention spans.” Be sure to be there!

If you haven’t done so yet, reserve your spot now and get in on the Early Bird discount – before it expires! Herschell and I look forward to seeing you in Delray Beach on November 4th.
