Five Words That Will Change Your Life

In Joe Vitale’s Accelerated Income Goals System, he talks about a defining moment in his life.

It happened about 10 years ago. He was in Los Angeles at party. Also at the party was Mark Joyner, a very successful online entrepreneur. Joe overheard a conversation Mark was having with a friend of his.

His friend was complaining how his Internet business had been destroyed due to some sort of violation the government had found. He told Mark how he’d gone through hell. He’d lost all his money and was basically back to square one.

Mark looked at him and said:

“Turn it into something good.”

Great advice.

It’s advice you can use regardless of the size of the problem that confronts you.

If you have a falling out with a friend or a relative, think of ways to turn it into something good.

You have a health scare? Use it to make some lifestyle adjustments so it never happens again.

The economic situation? Maybe it’s the incentive you need to reinvest in yourself so you become immune to economic downturns.

Joyner’s advice reminds me of a great John Lennon line from his song “Watching The Wheels”:

“Well I tell them there’s no problem, only solutions.”

I guess the lesson here is that we all face problems and obstacles in life; it’s how we deal with them that makes all the difference.

  1. It's all in the way you look at it.
