- According to AAFS, a watchdog group in the self-help industry, Americans will spend $11 billion on self-help products this year, up from $9.6 billion in 2005.
- There are 205 self-help mailers in the Who’s Mailing What! archive.
- Last year those mailers sent 9,415 mailings, up 2% from the year before, even with the economic downturn.
