AWAI “Newbie” Lands Plum Copywriting Position at Division of Agora Health

Last month, Agora Health held a weekend-long audition for a limited number of very talented writers who like to sell, persuade, and educate. One of their goals was to find people to write copy for them full-time in their Baltimore offices.

This is a tremendous opportunity to work in a dynamic and empowering environment for a $42 million natural health publishing and supplement business.

Agora Health Group Publisher, Jenny Thompson, told us this week that several AWAI members were selected to attend the auditions based on their submitted writing samples. And we’re happy to report that one of them, Circle of Success member and relative “newbie” Shelby Beckett, was hired for one of the positions!

Here’s the note Shelby sent to Denise Ford …

“Hi, Denise. You asked me to let you know the results of my job audition in Baltimore for a division of Agora Health. I’m still having a hard time believing it, but Jenny Thompson has offered me one of the two positions in the office there! My husband and I will be moving by October 1st! So, in addition to trying to make it all seem real, I have to start packing, too! (Not that I’m complaining.) The workload isn’t going to be light (especially since I’m a beginner), but I’ll do my best to stay in touch … and I’m very much looking forward to meeting you in person at Bootcamp in November!”
