Quick Tip:
A Smooth Transition to QuarkXPress

If you have been using Microsoft Word, Publisher, Adobe PageMaker, or some other layout program, you might be thinking about upgrading to the far more powerful QuarkXPress. Good idea. But what do you do if you have to work with files that you and your clients have in the old layout program?

Not a problem.

You can quick-port the layout as a PDF from the original application. Then load the layout into a picture box in QuarkXPress and you’re all set. You collect for output and include the PDF with the QuarkXPress document file like you would any other image.
