It's official. AWAI is 10 years old this month.
We know this milestone isn't about us, though. It’s about you and all the amazing people like you who are creating the lives you’ve always dreamed of.
I’ve said from day #1 that we measure our success by the success of our members. Now, 10 years later, I’m proud to say that we’ve been very successful indeed.
Every week I hear from AWAIers about how they’ve landed that first client … got that next big assignment … accomplished something they longed to achieve.
It makes us very proud … and inspires us to keep on improving what we do so more and more of you will share those feelings of excitement and accomplishment sooner.
We have big plans for the next 10 years … new and exciting programs … more ways for you to network with each other and build your businesses … greater access to marketers who have an even bigger need for copywriters than when we started back in 1997.
But, before we get to all that, we want to take some time this month to celebrate as many of the people who have changed their lives as a result of AWAI as we can.

I’ll be writing the year end letter for the Ronald McDonald House in New York City. It’s the largest of its kind in the world! Ironically, our Ronald McDonald House in Sioux City is one of the smallest and I did a pro bono piece for them when I was first getting started.
I don’t know the pay for it yet, but I sent them ranges… the lowest of which is still 3 times what I could make here!
