Quick Tip:
Relieving Carpal Tunnel and RMI Pain

Sit at a computer long enough, type at a keyboard day after day, and, eventually, you will start getting throbbing wrists, aching shoulders and thumbs, and a sore back. UNLESS you take proper precautions to prevent RMI (repetitive motion injury). And even if you’re already suffering from these pains, there are exercises you can do to help ease, and possibly even eliminate, them.

Here are two websites to help you in your quest for prevention and relief.

For general information about RMI and ways to avoid it, go to this National Institutes of Health webpage: http://www.ninds.nih.gov/disorders/carpal_tunnel/carpal_tunnel.htm.
