A "Color-Full" Resource for Graphic Designers

Much of your design work will be two-color – black and some other color ink. But when you have the luxury of doing four-color work, you’ll be faced with a challenge: using colors to subtly convey emotions.

A great resource for helping you with this is a small, idea-packed book "Color Index" by Jim Krause (from HOW Design Books).

This 360-page book is truly a "handbook." It easily fits in your palm. It contains over 1,100 color combinations that express emotions and concepts as varied as "Quiet," "Progressive," and "Natural (Earth and Sky)."

Each color is listed in both CMYK and RGB formulas.
